Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO) is now accepting grant proposals from non-profit agencies throughout Eddy and Lea Counties for its 2026 Employee Investment Advisory Committee program. The program is now in its fourth year.

The program’s 2026 funding priorities are:
– Arts & Culture/Community Vitality
– Children, Youth, and Families
– Food Security
– Health & Human Services

The online application is available at https://simco-llc.us/investment-advisory-committee/. Applications can be mailed, or hand delivered, and are due Monday, August 31, 2026, by 5:00 p.m. mountain time.

Salado Isolation Mining Contractors, LLC (SIMCO) were proud sponsors of The Sodality Foundation Hearts for Heroes fundraiser over the weekend. SIMCO Employee Investment Advisory Committee members and Emergency Preparedness employees were among those who attended the event on Saturday at the Valley Venue. The Sodality Foundation was one of the committee’s 2025 grant recipients, receiving a grant to support their Power Line App — a vital resource designed to support the mental health and overall well-being of first responders in Southeast New Mexico.
