Magnolia Ambulance

Magnolia Ambulance Magnolia Ambulance provides ALS ambulance services to seven counties in central Mississippi. The Carthage Ambulance Service, Inc.

has been in operation for over 20 years, serving Leake County, Mississippi. In January of 2008, LifeCare EMS was created as a division of Carthage Ambulance Service. We now operate in Leake, Winston, Newton, Scott, Noxubee and Kemper Counties and respond to in excess of 12,000 emergency and non-emergency calls annually. We strongly believe in being an active and productive part of the communities

that we serve. We believe in hiring EMS personnel who are well trained and go “above and beyond the call of duty” for the patients we are charged with caring for. Our motto has always been “we treat you like family” and feel it is a God called responsibility to provide the best pre-hospital care possible for our patients.

💜 International Overdose Awareness Day

Today, we remember those whose lives have been lost to overdose, support the families and communities affected, and stand with those on the journey toward recovery.

Substance use disorder is a medical condition, not a moral failing.

Recovery is possible.

If you or someone you know is struggling, know that help is available. Reaching out can be the first step toward healing.

⚠️ Dangerous summer heat continues across many of our communities this week.

As temperatures climb, remember to take extra precautions when spending time outdoors. Stay hydrated, take frequent breaks in a cool or shaded area, limit strenuous activity during the hottest parts of the day, and check in on family members, neighbors and others who may be more vulnerable to extreme heat.

Most importantly, know the signs of heat-related illness. Heat stroke is a medical emergency. If someone becomes confused, loses consciousness or shows other signs of heat stroke, call 911 immediately.

Stay cool, stay hydrated and look out for one another this week. ☀️💧🚑

It’s always a good day when we get to train with our friends at AirCare! 🚁🚑

Recently, team members from Magnolia Ambulance, a member of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, had the opportunity to assist with an AirCare training event. Experiences like these give our crews the chance to work alongside our healthcare partners while strengthening the teamwork and coordination that are so important when caring for patients.

Thank you to AirCare for including our team in a great day of training!

☀️ Dangerous heat continues across Mississippi today.

With heat index values potentially reaching 115°F and actual temperatures climbing into the 100–104°F range, please take precautions to protect yourself and those around you.

💧 Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks in the shade or air conditioning.
☀️ Limit prolonged outdoor activity when possible.
❤️ Check on relatives, neighbors and others who may be especially vulnerable to the heat.
🚗 Never leave children or pets unattended in a vehicle, even for a few minutes.

Know the signs of heat-related illness and take the heat seriously. Stay cool, stay hydrated and stay safe! 🚑

There is an elevated to significant threat for dangerous heat to continue today as heat index values approach 115 and actual air temperatures reach the 100 to 104 degree range. Heat exhaustion will be increasingly likely with prolonged outdoor activity, so continue to exercise caution, take plenty of breaks, and stay hydrated. Make sure relatives and neighbors have a cool place to stay. Do not leave young children and pets in unattended vehicles. Interiors of vehicles will reach lethal temperatures in a matter of minutes.
