Magnolia Ambulance provides ALS ambulance services to seven counties in central Mississippi. The Carthage Ambulance Service, Inc.

has been in operation for over 20 years, serving Leake County, Mississippi. In January of 2008, LifeCare EMS was created as a division of Carthage Ambulance Service. We now operate in Leake, Winston, Newton, Scott, Noxubee and Kemper Counties and respond to in excess of 12,000 emergency and non-emergency calls annually. We strongly believe in being an active and productive part of the communities that we serve. We believe in hiring EMS personnel who are well trained and go “above and beyond the call of duty” for the patients we are charged with caring for. Our motto has always been “we treat you like family” and feel it is a God called responsibility to provide the best pre-hospital care possible for our patients.

Baptist Ambulance and Magnolia Ambulance, members of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, enjoyed spending time with local fifth graders at the Attala Extension Office's annual Safety Expo!

Our teams shared important bicycle safety tips and encouraged students to practice safe habits. We're always grateful for opportunities to connect with young members of our community and promote injury prevention through education.

💙 A special congratulations to crew members Kyle and Jessie, who got married this week! We loved seeing them alongside Jessie's son, Singleton, who was one of the students participating in the event!

🚑🚒🚓 Today, on National First Responders Day, we recognize the dedicated professionals who answer the call when their communities need them most.

From EMTs and paramedics to firefighters, law enforcement officers, dispatchers and other public safety professionals, first responders step forward every day to serve, protect and care for others, often during some of life’s most difficult moments.

Across the Priority Ambulance family of companies, we are especially proud of our EMS professionals and grateful for the first responder agencies and healthcare partners we work alongside throughout the communities we serve.

Our Scott County crews enjoyed assisting students with hands-on skills training and sharing their knowledge and experience to help prepare future EMS professionals for the field.

Magnolia Ambulance and Baptist Ambulance, members of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, enjoyed visiting First Baptist of Carthage's kindergarten class for a Touch-a-Truck event!

Students had the opportunity to explore an ambulance up close, check out the equipment and learn a little more about what our EMS professionals do every day.

Magnolia Ambulance, a member of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, was proud to partner with Winston Medical Center and fellow Winston County first responders for the annual disaster preparedness drill!

This hands-on exercise provided an opportunity for emergency personnel and healthcare professionals to work together, strengthen communication and coordination, and practice responding to large-scale emergencies.

Training exercises like these play an important role in ensuring our teams are prepared to respond efficiently and effectively when our communities need us most.

Magnolia Ambulance, a member of the Priority Ambulance family of companies, was honored to participate in the Louisville Pilot Club’s 2026 Safety Town event in Winston County, Mississippi!

This wonderful community event gave local students the opportunity to learn valuable safety lessons, including the importance of wearing seat belts and making safe choices in everyday situations.

👏 A special thank you to the Louisville Pilot Club for organizing this meaningful event and to Lee Taylor and Jacob Vandevender for representing Magnolia Ambulance! We also loved having Jacob’s daughter, Audrey, join in on the fun!

🎃 Halloween is almost here! Before the costumes come out and trick-or-treating begins, the Priority Ambulance family of companies is sharing a few reminders to help everyone enjoy a safe and fun Halloween.

👻 Keep these safety tips in mind:

🔦 Be seen: Carry flashlights or glow sticks and add reflective material to costumes and treat bags, especially after dark.

🚶 Stay sidewalk smart: Use sidewalks whenever possible, cross at designated crosswalks and look both ways before entering the street.

🚗 Drivers, stay alert: Slow down in neighborhoods and watch carefully for children who may unexpectedly enter the roadway.

🎭 Choose costumes carefully: Make sure costumes and masks fit properly and don't obstruct vision or create a tripping hazard.

🍬 Check treats first: Parents and caregivers should inspect candy and treats before children dig in.

🏠 Keep your property safe: Make sure walkways and porches are well-lit and clear of decorations or other potential tripping hazards.
