Wednesday, we're kicking off National Chicken Month the best way we know how… with Storytime! Come enjoy a fun chicken themed book and stick around for a craft that’s sure to ruffle a few feathers…in the best way! 🐔🐤🐔🐤

And for Thursday, Kid Collective is going wild! From forests to deserts and oceans to wetlands, kids will learn about a variety of ecosystems and the animals that live in them. Then, they will design and build their own unique animal habitat. 🐂🐒🐆🐢

🌟🌟 THIS WEEK AT THE LIBRARY 🌟🌟

Monday is Pluto Demoted Day, and we’re giving our favorite former planet the recognition it deserves! Homeschoolers will explore fascinating facts about Pluto and celebrate its unique place in our solar system. Then, they will get creative by making their own papier-mâché Pluto. We plan to do Pluto proud!

Next up on Wednesday is Play Cafe where your child can explore, develop problem-solving skills, and interact with other children while enhancing their creativity, imagination, motor skills, and coordination!

Homeschoolers turned into Home Ec. students for a fun hands-on lesson! The kids rolled up their sleeves, mixed, measured, and baked their way to a batch of homemade biscuits. Along the way, they learned the basics of following a recipe, measuring ingredients, and working together in the kitchen.
