Just before 9pm, Oak Grove Fire responded to provide mutual aid assistance to Broken Arrow Fire Department at the incident involving a fireworks stand at Kenosha and Oneta Road.

The fire has been extinguished; however, emergency crews remain on scene as they continue their operations and ensure the area is safe.

Please use caution if traveling through the area and give first responders plenty of room to work.
We appreciate the cooperation and patience of the community as crews complete their work.

This evening, just before 5:00 PM, Oak Grove Fire responded mutual aid to assist Fair Oaks Fire Protection District with a motor vehicle collision.

The rear-end collision resulted in one minor injury, and one patient was transported to the hospital for further evaluation. We wish them a speedy recovery.

If you drove by the scene today, you may have noticed some new faces in Oak Grove gear—and for good reason! Today was orientation day for four new full-time firefighters joining the Oak Grove Fire family. Firefighters Davis and Hall were promoted to full time and newcomers Firefighters Brushabers and Owens!

We are excited to have these firefighters serving our community and look forward to the experience, dedication, and professionalism they bring to Oak Grove Fire.

Meet the newest member of the Oak Grove Fire family: Lucas III (Lucas the third)! 🤖

We're excited to announce that Oak Grove Fire has received its first LUCAS mechanical CPR device - an advanced tool designed to provide automated, consistent, and uninterrupted chest compressions for adult patients experiencing cardiac arrest.

Unlike human responders, Lucas III never gets tired, never loses rhythm, and never needs a break. By eliminating rescuer fatigue, this lifesaving device helps ensure high-quality CPR is delivered throughout a cardiac arrest event, giving patients the best possible chance when every second counts.

While we hope Lucas doesn't have to work too often, we're proud to have him standing by, ready to serve our community when he's needed most.

Oak Grove Fire is currently on scene of a single-vehicle collision.

â›” 273rd E Ave at 7th St is closed in both directions of travel while emergency crews work the scene.

Please avoid the area and seek an alternate route if possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and appreciate your patience.

Please give responders plenty of room to work as they work to clear the scene and reopen the roadway as quickly and safely as possible.

We’re all ready for summer fun, but Oklahoma weather may have other plans this weekend!

Severe weather is possible Friday and Saturday, with strong winds and large hail being the primary threats. If you’re heading out for ballgames, cookouts, lake trips, or other weekend activities, make sure you stay weather aware and have a plan in place.

Keep an eye on forecasts, enable weather alerts, and know where to seek shelter if storms develop.
