For today's spotlight, we get to celebrate one of the kindest kids around, Terry Heilman! Terry joined choir this year and has been a great addition!! I have truly enjoyed getting to have him in class this year and know he will be missed next year. We wish him nothing but the best as he moves onto his next chapter! Congrats, Terry!!

Parents: Melvin and Tamara Heilman

Future Plans: I'm planning on going to BSC for generals and somewhere else to go into graphic design

What you'll miss most about Choir: One thing I'll miss is the random funny moments and the positive environment that you get when you're in music classes, not being stressful but calm and relaxing most of the time.

Favorite Choir Memory: One of my favorite memories is simple, but I would say is brainstorming on what to paint my brick and getting my friends' funny feedback.

Favorite song performed: "Mr. Blue Sky"

Today I'm so happy to shine the spotlight on Titan Keller! Titan has been a great addition to Choir this year. He always comes in with a smile on his face and a "Hey, Mrs. Hanson!". He's so kind and positive and always willing to try something new in class. I've truly enjoyed getting to have him in class again! I know that he will continue to shine as he moves onto his next chapter! Best wishes to you, Titan!!

Parents: Nickolette Weil & Mike Keller

Future plans: Go to BSC after high school, get my generals done. Then, after I get my generals go into the dental field as a dental hygienist and work my way up if I still like that profession.

What You'll Miss: I will miss talking with Caiden and Kayley during choir the most, but I will also miss being able to play my saxophone.

Favorite Memory: When everyone first learned how to play their instruments, because everyone was embarrassed, including me.

Favorite song performed: "Counting Stars" because I have always loved that song, and now I'm able to sing it.

Today, we get to celebrate an exceptional student! Wyett Bohmbach has participated in Band, Jazz Band, and Choir throughout school. He has consistently performed in ensembles that have qualified for State competitions. He is always willing to do anything that is asked of him! When I think of Wyett, the first word that comes to mind is respectful. Wyett is genuinely kind and respectful to not only teachers/staff but to all students around him! We are all so proud that he is going to be a Marine!

Congratulations to Wyett!!

1. Parents: Ryan and Haley Bohmbach
2. Future Plans: My future plan is to pass bootcamp and become a United States Marine.
3. What I'll miss most about Band and Choir: how stress free both classes made me feel.
4. My favorite Band memory was when we all tried out to see what instrument best suited us.
5. My favorite song performed was "Intensity" for Band.

It was a great day at the State B Music Festival! I'm beyond proud of our students. They all worked so hard and represented the school and community so well! Judges rated the performances on the scale of 3-2-1-STAR. Star is the highest rating. In addition, each judge gets to choose the "Outstanding Performance of the Day". This performance is a State Champ and will be recognized at the State B Basketball Tournament next year! We officially get to add a State Champ to the C-S Gym!! Rachel Schmidt was chosen from 34 performances throughout the day for her French Horn solo. Congratulations to all of the students on a great day of Music!

A big "thank you" to the C-S Boosters for their generous donation of $200. We enjoyed a great lunch thanks to them!!

Today's Senior Spotlight shines bright on Quintessa Schwalbe! Quintessa is one of the kindest students I have had the privilege of teaching. She works hard and is always willing to help others. Over the years, she has also participated in more ensembles at Regionals. Tomorrow she'll be singing at State because of her hard work! I will truly miss her beautiful personality, smile, and voice, but wish her all the best!

Congratulations, Quintessa!

Parents: Garrett Schwalbe and Sondra Falter

Future plans: to go to college, then become a horse trainer

What you'll miss the most about Choir: The most I’ll miss about choir is singing and going to small groups, and also large groups, and also singing with my friends

Favorite song performed: "Mary Had a Baby " and "Counting Stars "
