Mount Pleasant is considering a temporary moratorium on new data center projects. We're all here for it.

Earlier this year, we called for a one-year moratorium on new data center construction in South Carolina to give lawmakers time to put real protections in place.

South Carolinians are already stretched thin. The last thing they need is a higher electricity bill subsidizing Big Tech's bottom line.

Data centers should fully cover the cost of the energy they consume and any grid upgrades their operations demand. South Carolina families and small businesses should not foot the bill.

Our hearts are shattered for the family of 5-year-old Saylor Hayes.

Hundreds of people, multiple agencies, and this entire community searched tirelessly for her. This kind of response says everything about the Lowcountry.

No family should ever have to face a loss like this. We are praying for Saylor's family and everyone who loved her during this unimaginable time.

The Supreme Court just ruled pesticide companies can't be sued in state court over cancer warnings on their labels.

We introduced the Pesticide Harm Accountability Act to restore your right to sue pesticide manufacturers in state court if they fail to warn you about the risks of their products. The bill would also force the EPA to identify and address federal barriers blocking these lawsuits.

If a pesticide company's product poisons you, you should be able to take them to court. Period. NO ONE is above the law.

A foreign-born federal judge who reportedly never renounced her foreign citizenship blocked the federal government from verifying voter citizenship data.

Judge Sparkle Sooknanan made a promise under oath. She pledged to renounce her Trinidad and Tobago citizenship to fulfill her duties. Recent reports suggest she never did. She took the bench anyway.

We introduced legislation to close this gap for GOOD.

No one serving in one of our nation's highest offices should have one foot in America and one foot in a foreign nation.
