🎉 Tomorrow is also Neon Day - dress in your brightest colors to show how electric this fundraiser has been! Then, let’s head outside for some friendly competition — because tomorrow’s Raise the Roar Student Experience is going to be EPIC!

Our students will enjoy an action‑packed day featuring:
Obstacle course bounce house
Sports bounce house
Tug‑of‑war battles
Bucket race competitions
Music, small prizes, and tons of energy!

…but - we’ve gotta make it past this final challenge:

We’ve raised $9,400 and are a little over a quarter of our total fundraising goal!

🎉 Our Raise the Roar Fundraiser & Spirit Week Kicks Off TOMORROW!
The excitement starts tomorrow as we launch our two-week Raise the Roar Fundraiser and Spirit Week celebration! Get ready to show your Raptor pride, bring the energy, and help us make some NOISE for RRMS!

START THE DAY IN RAPTOR STYLE: On Sept 14th, come dressed in your favorite Roberta Road spirit gear and help us kick off the celebration with school pride and Raptor energy!

CAR LINE HYPE: Parents, we need YOU! Show your support by honking your horn in the car line as we kick off our Raise the Roar Rally! Let's make sure the whole neighborhood hears our Raptor ROAR!

RAPTOR PASS IS COMING HOME: On Sept. 14th, students will bring home their Raptor Pass information sheet, which includes a QR code and link to their personal donation page. Families can use it to:
- Access their student's fundraising page
-Share with family and friends
-Help support the RRMS Annual Fundraiser

CHALLENGES & PRIZES: Be on the lookout for social media messages from the school with exciting challenges throughout the week and opportunities to win prizes!

🎉 Heading into the weekend with a big achievement! 🎉
We are incredibly proud to share an important milestone for Roberta Road Middle School: for the first time in our school’s history, RRMS MET EXPECTED GROWTH!

This designation reflects the academic progress our students made during the 2025–26 school year and represents an incredible step forward for our school.
We also continued to make progress on North Carolina’s School Performance Grade, improving our overall numerical score while maintaining a “C” letter grade. While we know there is more work ahead, the movement within that performance range matters. Combined with meeting expected growth for the first time, it provides clear evidence that Raptor Nation is moving forward.

These results belong to our entire community.

Do you have a rising 7th or 8th grader wanting to cheer?
Well it’s that time of year again for football cheerleading tryouts!

Tryouts will be July 13th, 14th, and 15th from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.
They will be held in the Aux Gym and drop off and pick up will be in the bus parking lot.

Please make sure to have your athlete wear a t-shirt, school appropriate athletic shorts, and tennis shoes or cheer shoes. All athletes need to have an updated sport physical to participate and completed registration online in Dragonfly (https://www.dragonflymax.com/) before arrival of the first day of tryouts.
