The fire took minutes. The kids stayed longer.
It was 98°, the fire was out, and once the scene was safe, a few neighborhood kids got the chance to help hold the hose (and cool off a little).
Calls don't stop because it's hot, and neither do opportunities to connect with the community.
Just another day on Ladder 45.

B-Shift assisted Harrisburg and Concord Fire with this commercial structure fire last night. L45 assisted controlling utilities and then married up with Concord Truck 11 with opening up the roof
