CRHA 2027 Annual Agency Plan Available for Public Review
Chesapeake Redevelopment and Housing Authority (CRHA) has released the first draft of its 2027 Annual Agency Plan(Opens in new window) for public review and comment. Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) are required to prepare and submit PHA Plans in accordance with 24 CFR Part 903, which outlines HUD requirements for agency planning and fair housing compliance.

The Annual Agency Plan serves as a comprehensive roadmap for CRHA's policies, programs, operations, and strategies to address local housing needs. It provides residents, Housing Choice Voucher participants, community stakeholders, and members of the public with easy access to information regarding the administration of HUD-funded affordable housing programs, agency goals, and planned initiatives for the coming year. CRHA encourages residents and community members to review the draft plan and provide feedback during the public comment period. Public participation plays an important role in helping ensure that CRHA's programs and services continue to meet the housing needs of the Chesapeake community.
