The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message, review the proposed budget, and receive public comment. This is a public meeting where the Budget Committee will deliberate on the City’s proposed programs and budget for the upcoming fiscal year.

Community members are encouraged to attend and participate. A copy of the proposed budget document will be available for review at the meeting.

Chiloquin Chili Cook-Off

Turn up the heat at the 2nd Annual Chiloquin Chili Cook-Off, happening during the 5th Annual Chi-Town Family Festival! Community members and chili lovers are invited to bring their best recipes, compete for bragging rights, and enjoy a fun afternoon of great food and friendly competition.

Event Details
- Date: Saturday, June 20
- Location: Chi-Town Family Festival - Chiloquin Rodeo Grounds
- Cook-Off Begins: 2:00 PM
- Contestant Setup: Prior to the event
- Contestant Arrival Deadline: 12:00 PM
- Winners Announced: 6 PM
- Grand Prize: $500 for 1st Place

Contest Requirements
- All chili entries must be made from scratch.
- Please clearly label any chili that is spicy.
- Contestants should prepare approximately 20 quarts of chili (about two crock pots).
- All contestants must arrive by noon to allow adequate setup time before judging and serving begins.
