🛡️ Safety is a team effort! 🐅❤️🖤

We’re proud to partner with the Circleville City Police Department to provide two dedicated School Resource Officers, Officer Kory Yoder and Officer Chris Green, who help create a safe, secure and welcoming environment for all of our Tigers. When additional support is needed, Officer Grant Holloway will also be available as a backup SRO.

Our SROs also want to remind everyone about our new student crosswalks! 🚸 During arrival and dismissal, please be on the lookout for Tigers crossing the road. The crosswalk lights will continue to flash during these times, so please slow down, stay alert and be prepared to stop for our students.

Together, we’re helping make Circleville City Schools a place where students can learn, grow and thrive! 🐅❤️🖤

📚✨ ’Twas the Night Before School… ✨📚

The halls are quiet, the classrooms are ready, and our Tigers are just hours away from the start of a brand-new school year! 🐅❤️🖤

To help us get to bed early, our Circleville City Schools building administrators gathered for our annual reading of our favorite bedtime story— “’Twas the Night Before School”—a sweet reminder of all the excitement, anticipation and a little bit of back-to-school magic that comes with this time of year. 📖🍎

🎒 Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 19th is the BIG DAY! 🎒 Students in 1st–12th grades will officially start the 2026–27 school year!

Today was a big day for our 6th graders and freshmen as they took an important step into a new chapter! Students transitioning from elementary to middle school and middle school to high school had the chance to:

🔑 Practice their locker combinations
🗺️ Walk through their schedules and find their classrooms
⭐ Learn about new clubs, activities and opportunities
🍎 Get the scoop on the changes that come with lunch in 6th grade

Last week, our maintenance and custodial teams recently completed CPR certification to help keep our Tigers safe and ready for whatever comes their way! 👏

At Circleville City Schools, every staff member—no matter their role—plays an important part in creating a safe, caring environment for our students. From the classroom to the cafeteria, the bus garage to the maintenance team, our Tigers are always at the heart of what we do.

The countdown is officially on, and there’s plenty happening around campus as we get ready to welcome our Tigers back!

📅 TONIGHT — Monday, August 17
🏫 CHS & CMS Open House | 5–7 p.m.
📚 CES Open House — Grades 3–5 | 5:30–6:30 p.m.
Come meet your teachers, walk the halls, find your classrooms and get ready to ride into a new school year!

⭐ 6th & 9th Grade Orientations — Morning
🏫 CES Open House — PreK–2nd Grade 5:30-6:30 p.m. Another big day of getting familiar with new classrooms, new routines and all the excitement that comes with a fresh start!

We’re back y’all! Our staff kicked off the new school year in true western style with our theme, “Round Up Inspiration and Rope In Innovation!”

From celebrating the inspiring stories of educators and the incredible impact they have on students, to recognizing our amazing staff members for their years of service, the morning was all about celebrating the heart of our school community.

And, of course, we had to have a little fun along the way! Our staff even kicked up their boots for some country line dancing with Susan and Dave from Knockin Boots! 🤠🐅

It was an inspiring and energetic way to start what we know will be an amazing year.
