Claypool 1st and 2nd graders learned about Coding today. It is the language people use to send commands to computers and robots. Students pretended they were robots and their partner gave them codes to follow....and get SQUIRTED!!

Claypool 1st and 3rd graders visited the creek today. They collected macroinvertebrates to determine the creek's health. Students found about 40 crayfish! And Miss Swearingen even held a harmless Eastern milk snake!

Today, we’re excited to spotlight Tabitha McDonald (WACC teacher and HOSA sponsor) who was nominated by Tracy Beiler for the incredible impact she makes across WCS!

EACH school year, Tabitha helps certify more than 100 WCS staff members in CPR, while also preparing many future healthcare professionals in the classroom! In addition, she leads HOSA, where she provides students with opportunities to compete and explore their futures in healthcare.

Claypool 4th and 6th graders participated in a STEM Challenge. Students learned about towers. Then they tried to build the tallest tower in 7 minutes using only tape and index cards.

Today, Claypool celebrated our very first Knights In Shining Armor! We celebrated our 3rd grade team of Mrs. Prescott and Miss Swearinger. Thank you for everything you do for our Knights!
