🚒 **GREAT NEWS FOR COGGON FIRE DEPARTMENT!** 🚒

The Coggon Fire Department is excited to announce that we have been awarded a **$33,360 grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation®**!

This generous grant will allow us to purchase **battery-operated TNT rescue tools**, including a **spreader, cutter, and ram**. These new tools will greatly improve our ability to perform extrication during motor vehicle accidents and other rescue situations.

The cordless design will allow our firefighters to work without hydraulic hoses, reducing setup time, improving mobility, and enhancing safety on the scene. Most importantly, this equipment will help us respond more quickly and effectively when our community needs us most.

We would like to extend a **huge thank you to the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation and our local Firehouse Subs restaurant in Cedar Rapids** for supporting the Coggon Fire Department and helping us better serve our community.

We are extremely grateful for organizations like this that invest in our local firefighters and the communities we protect. ❤️

**Thank you, Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation!** 🚒❤️
