We are profoundly saddened to learn of the untimely passing of a dear brother. Our thoughts and condolences are with our brothers and sisters. We extend our deepest sympathies to West Liberty Volunteer Fire Department and hope that Hunters' friends, family, and those whose lives he touched may find comfort in the cherished memories of his life.

Yesterday afternoon members got together for training. Utilizing the old fish house they were able to train on ladders, roof ventilation with gas and hand tools, positive pressure ventilation, window to door conversion, pulling ceiling, and hose line advancement.

Saturday afternoon members had the pleasure of giving a tour and sharing a bit of the history of the department with the Hackworth Fire Collection LLC. If you’re into fire/ems history their page has some great content of departments from all over the state!
