Get Outdoors, GO Lancaster begins today!

Grab your water bottle, lace up your sneakers and get ready to Get Outdoors (GO!) in Lancaster County!
This year, GO Lancaster! is not just for kids! Adults ages 19+ can also participate using Beanstack.

Using your GO Lancaster! 2026 Sketchbook, you can find the 20 posts with a unique etching attached. Posts will be hidden in your local, county, and state parks.

Once you’ve found each park’s unique post, make your etching, and check it off from the list using the secret 4-digit code in Beanstack. You can find the code on the post.

Complete 3 parks and you’ll earn a special GO Lancaster prize (kids’ program only)!

Keep logging your parks to earn chances to win the GO Lancaster grand prize drawing. After logging at least 4 parks, you’ll earn one entry into the drawing. Earn up to 4 total entries into the drawing when you complete all 20 parks! There are 5 grand prizes for the kids’ program and 3 grand prizes for the adult program.

Families can pick up a GO Lancaster! 2026 Sketchbook and etching sheet(s) at their local library.

One 2026 Sketchbook per family
One etching sheet per participant
Kids program is for ages birth to 18
Adult program (ages 19+) is available through Beanstack.

What gorgeous day outside to enjoy parachute play and a small picnic! Our second Preschool Pals class of the week started their morning off enjoying Play-doh, our "bridge," and tunnel.

After we cleaned up, we read The Sun Thief by Alice Hemming. Then we headed outside to enjoy some parachute play and ended our morning with a cupcake picnic on the Library Reading Terrace.

We've had so much fun working with these kiddos!

While the weather did not cooperate this morning, we had plenty of fun indoors with our first Preschool Pals class of the week. Our friends enjoyed Play-Doh, walking on our "bridge," and crawling through the tunnel.

We read the newest bird and squirrel book, The Sun Thief by Alice Hemming. Our friends love this series!

After our story, we enjoyed parachute time before ending our morning with a cupcake treat. Our Preschool Pals class is taking a break as we gear up for Summer Reading!

This class has been so much fun to work with! They've built some great friendships!
