The SSCM Food Pantry is an all-volunteer organization providing emergency food assistance to families and seniors in Columbus’ Southside community.

For more than 30 years, we’ve been helping our neighbors put food on the table when they need it most. SSCM Food Pantry-Breaking down hunger in Columbus’ Southside

• 1 in 6 children go to bed without sufficient, nourishing food
• Columbus’ Southside is one of the areas in Franklin County hardest hit by
the recession
• Over 1,000 family members now being served each month
• 37% increase over the comparable 12 month period the year before
• Stretch your dollar: A $1 donation to SSCM Food Pantry = $8 worth of
groceries from Mid-Ohio Food Bank, the major supplier of our food.
• All donations are tax-deductible
• This is an all-volunteer operation – no one is paid
