Open House is this week! Our staff is gearing up to welcome families this Wednesday, and we have something for everyone. Here's what to expect:

Student artwork, various rehearsals, ceramics, jewelry & metalsmithing, photography, theater, stagecraft, and more!

-Resources for Families-
Connect with Student Services, counselors, and staff to learn about supports, wellness, attendance, and more. We'll also be offering Schoology training for families!

-College & Career-
Learn about CCP, FAFSA, college planning, career readiness, and life after ACPA.

"With a background in education and dance, I have found the perfect place to bring these passions together at ACPA. My work includes modern, ballet, jazz, wheelchair dance, and other movement styles. Whether I am in a classroom or the dance studio my focus is on helping students build confidence, creativity, technique, and community. My memorable experiences in dance include choreographing a wheelchair dance for Slippery Rock University and performing at the Dance Festival in Lyon, France. I continue to enjoy collaborative work that brings dance together with live music and visual art. Inspiration from other artists and the rehearsal process are two of my favorite aspects of dance."

Chalkfest is more than just chalk.

Chalkfest is: Music. Connection. Creating off the paper. Good food. Good people. The welcoming of fall. Tie-dye. Seeing the heart of ACPA. Student creators. Collaboration. Friendship. Moving your body. Community. Small businesses. Supporting your peers. So much more.

So, why chalk?

There's something bittersweet about pouring so much heart into something to be washed away with the rain - but as with so many other things, the memory that sticks with us is what actually counts. Chalkfest is a chance to come together, create something beautiful, take those memories with us, and then do it all over again. Each year, ACPA's campus becomes another blank canvas to be filled with music, people, memories - and of course, chalk.

We can't wait to paint (chalk) our canvas with new memories this year!
