We hope all of our Tigers are reading (or being read to) this summer! Here’s another fun way to celebrate reading and earn free pizza.

BOOK IT! Summer of Stories is back for another fun-filled, nostalgic summer of reading adventures and pizza prizes!

Our summer program officially begins TODAY, June 1 and runs through August 31 for children in PreK–6th grade nationwide.

✨ The first official reward claim period opens July 1!

Parents, here are a few important reminders:

📅 Reading days must be marked on the calendar inside the BOOK IT! App. If you miss a day, you’re able to go back up to 7 days.
📖 Children must read at least 15 days within the month, and parents must track those reading days in the app calendar to qualify for their pizza reward.

If you experience any issues, please contact us before the end of the month using the Contact Support page located in the app menu or on our website so we can assist you in time.

We closed out the 25-26 school year by celebrating the retirement of Mrs. Lisa Brown and Mrs. Tammy Patrick. We thank both for their service to CPS and CES and wish them the best in their retirement!

As we close out the 2025-2026 school year, we are incredibly thankful for our amazing teachers, staff, and school community. The dedication, hard work, and support shown throughout this year have made a lasting impact on our students and schools. Our teachers and staff have truly earned a well-deserved break, and we wish everyone a safe, restful, and refreshing summer!

Field Day 2026 was one for the books! Our Tigers worked hard, played hard, and had the best day! Thank you to our coaches and volunteers for making this day a success! 🏅

Students in Ms. Adams’ class have been learning all year about American historical figures in Social Studies. As a culminating activity, students participated in a Wax Museum to share what they learned with their families. Students chose a person and wrote a speech. Some students wore costumes and/or made posters. It was a great day of learning for all!

First grade put their knowledge of goods and services as well as producers and consumers to work in Tiger Town. Each classroom was transformed into a business providing a good or service. Students took turns working to earn money and visiting the businesses to spend their money! 💰
