He once helped harm his community. Today, he’s helping rebuild it—one backpack at a time.

Dante is a Compton native, an LWOP survivor, and co-founder of Get It Together. After returning home from a sentence designed to bury him alive, he chose accountability, redemption, and service.

On August 15, 2026, we gave more than 500 backpacks to Compton youth—turning Dante’s transformation into visible community impact.

Some would say Get It Together is too urban… but they can’t say we’re not real. So we just show up as ourselves.T-shirts or church clothes, whatever we’ve got on,we’re ready to do the work either way. We might clean it up every now and then just to keep folks guessing, styles may change, not the substance. Different looks for different days, same mission every time. Tap in with us.

Father’s Day on Skid Row was beautiful.

Free haircuts, hot fish plates, supplies, laughs, and real love for the people. This is what community looks like when we show up — not with judgment, but with dignity.

On Skid Row, we don’t just pull up with clippers — we pull up with purpose.

Today we had the honor of cutting hair for our unhoused brothers while teaching young Michael the craft, the culture, and the responsibility that comes with serving the people.

This is what the GET IT TOGETHER movement is about: building, giving back, creating opportunity, and showing the next generation how to lead with love and action.
