ANDERSON DOES IT AGAIN!

Today, Jewell C. Anderson Elementary proudly received its SECOND STATE RECOGNITION from the Georgia Department of Education through the John Hancock Cursive Writing Initiative! Clayton County Public Schools

This recognition celebrates excellence in cursive handwriting instruction, with at least 90% of participating scholars demonstrating proficiency in writing their first and last names and the Preamble to the U.S. Constitution in cursive!

At Anderson, excellence is not just an expectation. It’s a standard we continue to demonstrate!

Pirate Families, YOU are an essential part of our success! Continue reinforcing literacy at home by encouraging your scholars to practice cursive writing, demonstrate their skills, and take pride in their academic growth. Every conversation, every practice opportunity, and every moment of encouragement matters!

Congratulations to our scholars, teachers, and school community for continuing to raise the bar!

TWO STATE RECOGNITIONS AND COUNTING! 🏆🏆
