Multiple Working Fires

On August 29, 2026 Conroe Firefighters responded to a challenging structure fire involving heavy smoke and fire extending through the roof of the primary structure. Due to the intensity of fire conditions, a neighboring home also became involved.

Crews operated aggressively to contain the fire, protect surrounding exposures, and bring the incident under control.

One firefighter was transported to the hospital for heat-related injuries sustained during the operation. We’re proud to report that he was treated, made a full recovery, and was discharged just hours later.

Conroe Firefighters continue to answer the call and put it all on the line for the citizens we serve.

Congratulations to our brothers and sisters in Lubbock on a tremendous contract victory!

This agreement represents a significant step forward for Lubbock Fire Department, its firefighters, and ultimately the citizens they serve. Improvements to scheduling, professional development, education, and lateral hiring are all wins for both firefighters and the community.

We appreciate the willingness of Lubbock city officials and the Lubbock Professional Firefighters Association to work TOGETHER toward solutions that benefit everyone. When city leaders and firefighters are willing to sit at the same table and work together, great things can happen.

Please come out and support the charitable branch of our great organization!

The 9/11 stair climb not only reminds us of the sacrifices that so many gave on one of the most horrific days in American history, it also honors the 343 Firefighters that gave their lives that day in the attempt to save others.

Our Charitable foundation raises money that not only goes back into our amazing community, but it also helps fund our Firefighters mental health initiatives that helps pay for counseling for our members in need.

This event is family friendly, so bring your kids and neighbors!!

The advocacy goes above and beyond!!

🙏🏻Please keep our Firefighters in your prayers.

Yesterday we had a Firefighter suffer a critical heat related injury while working, and still remains in ICU.

At an unrelated incident, another experienced a heat related injury while battling an early morning structure fire. Both Firefighters are expected to make a full recovery.

Early this morning our Firefighters battled 2 house fires and immediately following a commercial structure fire. As temperatures and heat index’s have consistently reached over 100 degrees, our men and women work hard protecting our city.

As always, we express our sincere gratitude for the outpouring support from our citizens! 🙏🏻

We would also like to thank our brothers and sisters with North Montgomery County Fire Department for their hard work assisting us with these fires. They are an amazing group of professional firefighters!

We are very proud to announce that 6 of our Firefighters received awards for their heroic efforts during the historic and devastating floods that happened July 4, 2025 in Kerrville, TX

21 of our firefighters are apart of Texas Task Force 1. These members are among some of the most highly trained firefighters across the state, specializing in swift water rescue and urban search and rescue.

Conroe Firefighters spent quality time training this week alongside the U.S. Coast Guard & Texas DPS.

Our crews continue to lead the way in water rescue & special operations, remaining among the most highly-trained & dedicated special operations agencies in the State of Texas.

Training with the best makes us better prepared to serve our community when it matters most.
