Introducing Coppell Community Experiences

Could we BE any more excited about this?!?

Have you heard the news? Coppell Parks and Recreation is now Coppell Community Experiences! We know what you’re thinking, “…but they maintain our parks….and they provide recreation.” You’re right, we do, BUT we do so much more!

In addition to our traditional parks and rec offerings, did you know we also oversee the operations of our cemetery, the Coppell Arts Center, the Cozby Library and Community Commons? The name Coppell Community Experiences better encompasses all that we do, and the ways that we are present in the Coppell community. We hope you’ll join us in 2023 as we continue to provide exceptional experiences to the community.

All of the presents, the ribbons, the wrapping….how can you dispose of all the holiday trappings? Do you know what can and cannot be recycled in your curbside bin? CLEAN paper (even wrapping paper as long as there’s no shine or foil!), plastic bottles and jugs, cardboard, and aluminum cans can all be easily recycled and make a big impact. If your bottles or paper are dirty (like that last bit of Who jam at the bottom of the jar or that pizza box that held last night’s dinner), throw them in the trash! They can contaminate the rest of your clean recyclables. Remember, plastic bags can’t be recycled in your bin but can be taken to most grocery stores for recycling.
