Talarico’s NYC Fundraising Swing Continues With Transgender Activists

Democrat U.S. Senate candidate James Talarico took a second bite of the Big Apple last night, holding yet another New York City fundraiser. As Brandon Waltens reports, this event featured the leaders of an organization that advocates gender-transition drugs and surgeries for minors.

In Texas, Talarico has attempted to distance himself from gender-mutilation surgeries for children, with his campaign recently saying he does not support gender reassignment surgery for minors—despite his legislative record to the contrary.

At the Greenwich Village fundraiser, Talarico was hosted by board members of the Human Rights Campaign, which advocates access to what it calls "gender-affirming care" for minors.

Earlier this week, Talarico was feted at another NYC fundraiser that featured actor Robert De Niro and former U.S. Sen. Sherrod Brown. The host committee included several fundraisers and political allies of New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani, a Democratic Socialist.

The Nueces County Republican Party has officially voted to OPPOSE Proposition B, the Fair Water Amendment, and we are encouraging voters to VOTE NO this November.

Water policy should be responsible, transparent, and adaptable. Specific water rates, fees, drought surcharges, and regulatory requirements should not be locked into the City Charter.

These important decisions should remain subject to public input, professional analysis, and accountable legislative and regulatory processes.

🔴 SHE SAID SHE’D FIX IT. SHE DID. When Connie Scott took office as Nueces County Judge, she says she inherited a county facing financial uncertainty, aging facilities and operational challenges.

Scott went to work. During her first term, she has focused on strengthening county finances, protecting taxpayer dollars, addressing long-overdue repairs and infrastructure needs, and preparing Nueces County for future challenges.

Now, Connie Scott is asking voters for another four years. “Nueces County deserves a County Judge who takes responsibility and gets to work.”

If gas prices are going to determine your vote, make sure you do your research and take a look at the numbers...

AVERAGE GAS PRICE BY PRESIDENTIAL ADMINISTRATION

Trump’s 1st Term: $2.48/gallon
Biden Administration: $3.45/gallon (highest)
Trump’s 2nd Term so far: $3.40/gallon

The highest weekly average during Biden’s term was $5.01/gallon, compared with $2.96 during Trump’s first term and $4.48 so far during his second term.

But here’s another comparison worth looking at...

TEXAS: $3.94/gallon
CALIFORNIA: $6.35/gallon

That’s about $2.40 MORE PER GALLON in California, a State run by Democrats. For a 20-gallon fill-up, that’s roughly $48 more at the pump, And it’s not just Texas and California.

When you compare states where Republicans control the Governor’s office and both chambers of the legislature with states where Democrats have the same control:

Republican-controlled states: $4.29/gallon average
Democrat-controlled states: $4.73/gallon average

That’s about 44 cents more per gallon in Democrat-controlled states.

If gas prices are an issue that will determine your vote, look beyond today’s national price and look at which Party increases gas prices.

Let’s not increase gas prices by electing Democrats.

Look at the numbers. Look at the states. Look at the record.

Vote Republican. Keep Texas Red.
