The 𝟏𝟗𝐭𝐡 𝐀𝐧𝐧𝐮𝐚𝐥 𝐋𝐮𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐧𝐠 𝐔𝐧𝐚 𝐂𝐚𝐣𝐚 𝐃𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐒𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐭 is officially behind us, and we are still taking in just how special this year’s event was.

This invitation-only South Texas tradition has grown into something so much bigger than a day in the field. It brings together people who believe in HALO-Flight, believe in the communities we serve, and believe in making sure lifesaving air medical transport is there when it is needed most.

This year, our 31-team roster sold out nearly two months earlier than expected, and together, you helped us raise just over $𝟏𝟗𝟓,𝟎𝟎𝟎 for HALO-Flight. 💙💛

Because behind every flight is a patient, a family and a moment that matters most.

The Patrova family reminded us of that so beautifully when they shared their story. Sometimes the impact of a flight is measured in minutes. Sometimes it is measured in the moments a family gets to have together afterward.

That is why we keep showing up.

What a week for HALO-Flight! 💙🚁

From the Luther Young Una Caja Dove Shoot on Thursday to a full Saturday of community events, our HALO team has been on the move all week long!

Today, our Beeville crew — Diana, Mandy and Curtis — is out at the Red, White & Beeville Vintage Air Show, with Ashley in COMMS helping dispatch our crew, while Wendy is representing HALO at the Live Oak County Health Fair in George West.

It has been a busy week filled with community, connection and a whole lot of HALO — and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We love getting out into the communities we serve, meeting new friends and spending time with so many who continue to support our mission.

And after an incredible Luther Young Una Caja Dove Shoot, we’re especially grateful for everyone who helped make this week such a special one. 💙

This September 11, longtime friends of HALO-Flight Liz and Joe Harvey continued their tradition of honoring the day through giving, making a generous contribution to our Building to New Heights campaign.

Their connection to HALO runs deep. Liz previously served as our Director of Philanthropy, while Joe is a former HALO-Flight pilot — making their continued investment in our mission especially meaningful.

As we prepare to celebrate 40 years of serving South Texas, we're incredibly grateful for friends like Liz and Joe who have been part of our story and continue to invest in its future.

We’ve been busy out in the community helping families learn more about HALO-Flight’s Guardian Membership — and welcoming plenty of new Guardians along the way!

For just $60 a year, a household membership covers the head of household, spouse and dependent children. If a covered member requires a medically necessary transport by HALO-Flight, insured members have no out-of-pocket expense for the HALO-Flight transport.

Best of all, your membership helps support the nonprofit air ambulance that has been caring for South Texas since 1987. 💙💛
