NRC Corpus Christi held its Change of Command ceremony on 6 December 2025 aboard the USS Lexington.

CDR Ryan Zintgraff formally relinquished command to LCDR Stacy McDonald, with REDCOM Commanding Officer CAPT Lena Kaman presiding.

As his final acts as Commanding Officer, CDR Zintgraff presented awards to:
• PS1 Joseph Weygant – Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal
• GM2 Julienne Agarrado – Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal and recognition as the REDCOM Fort Worth Regional TAR Junior Sailor of the Quarter (3rd Quarter, FY25)
• SW1 Lorena Flores – Seabee Combat Warfare Enlisted Insignia pinning

CDR Zintgraff also reenlisted AS2 Carlos VillafaneMercado, who committed to four additional years of dedicated Naval service. The CPO Mess, First Class Petty Officer Association, and NRC staff presented farewell gifts in honor of his leadership and service.

Following his farewell remarks, orders were read and LCDR McDonald officially assumed command. He was pinned with the Command Ashore insignia by Ms. Ronda Cherry.

The ceremony was attended by family, friends, and Shipmates who joined in bidding fair winds and following seas to CDR Zintgraff, and extended a warm welcome to LCDR McDonald as he begins his tenure as Commanding Officer of NRC Corpus Christi.
