Our hearts are full of gratitude.

Corpus Christi Metro Ministries is incredibly honored to be named a 2026 beneficiary of Crawfish for a Cause Corpus Christi. The generosity of this event and its participants will have a lasting impact on the lives of our neighbors throughout the Coastal Bend.

These funds help provide more than assistance—they help restore dignity. Every week, Metro Ministries serves an average of 1,100 meals through Loaves & Fishes Community Kitchen and provides free medical care to more than 100 patients through the Gabbard Health Clinic, ensuring that anyone in need has access to nourishment, healthcare, and hope.

To everyone who attended, volunteered, sponsored, cooked, and supported Crawfish for a Cause, thank you for investing in a stronger, healthier community. Together, we’re changing lives, one meal, one patient, and one act of kindness at a time.

We were honored to deliver the check from Crawfish for a Cause 2026 to our amazing beneficiaries, Corpus Christi Metro Ministries and Agape Ranch, and celebrate the incredible work they continue to do for our community.

Joining us for this special moment were Susan Klaus, Founder and Executive Director of Agape Ranch; Patty Clark, Chief Executive Officer of Corpus Christi Metro Ministries; Christina Griffith, Development Director; and Crawfish for a Cause Co-Chairs Teysha Dougherty and Roman Escobar.

During the event, we proudly presented $40,000 to each beneficiary. Thanks to the incredible generosity of our sponsors, volunteers, partners, donors, and community, we were able to exceed that amount and deliver a final total of $48,000 to each organization.
