The Costa Mesa Police Department recognizes that social media tools are available 24 hours a day, and we welcome comments at any time. However, the moderation of comments and private messages occur during regular business hours, Monday through Friday 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Pacific Standard Time, or when possible. Comments and private messages submitted after hours or on weekends or holidays will be read as soon as possible. For this reason private messages, in particular, that contain time sensitive or case specific information should not be provided using this tool.
