Partnering with districts to help every student succeed!

For Attendance Awareness Month, Green Hills AEA is proud to highlight our ongoing work with local districts like Harlan Community High School. Through hands-on collaboration, our Green Hills Attendance Consultant partners directly with school teams to build proactive, family-centered systems that help students show up and thrive.

Here is what happens when AEA consultants and district teams work together:
📈 Growth score on state performance profiles for previously chronically absent students jumped from 0.26 (2024) to 5.09 (2025).
📉 Chronic absenteeism at Harlan CHS dropped from 17.4% to 15.2%.
🏃 Stronger systems like "The Attendance Finish Line" and "Comeback Contracts" now give students clear, positive paths to stay on track.

During a recent panel discussion, Harlan seniors shared their top piece of advice with incoming freshmen: Just show up!

This week was a huge milestone for our Rising Hope Academy! After serving elementary students for the last several years, we officially launched our first-ever Middle School classroom this week.

From STEM challenges and seed planting to SEL games with our elementary classroom, week one was a massive success. We're excited to watch these middle schoolers grow and be successful this year!
