🚛 City of Covington Garbage Collection Reminder: Roll Cart Guidelines🚛
To help keep our neighborhoods clean, safe, and running smoothly, check out the below checklist for roll cart guidelines:

✅ Bagged garbage: Roll carts are the only approved method for household garbage collection. All bagged garbage must be placed inside your city-issued roll cart. Garbage should not be placed on the ground or beside the cart for pickup.

📍 Proper placement matters: Place your roll cart at the curb or approved street-side location on your scheduled collection day.

⏰ Set-out timing: Roll carts may be placed curbside no earlier than 7:00 PM the evening before collection and must be removed within 24-hours after pickup.

⚖️ Weight & lid requirements: Roll carts (including contents) must not exceed 200 pounds, and lids must fully close.

🧼 Keep carts clean: Residents are responsible for maintaining roll carts in a clean and sanitary condition, free from odors, insects, and rodents.

➕ Need an extra cart? Additional roll carts are available for $8 per month by request. Please contact the City’s Customer Service Department at 770-385-2000 for assistance in securing an additional roll cart.

📱Missed pickup? If your pickup was missed, please call the City's Customer Service Department at 770-385-2000.
