The shelter shelves are getting bare.😕 We are currently very low on laundry and cleaning products.
Items Needed:
Dishwasher Pods -- HE Liquid Laundry Detergent -- Bleach -- Fabric Softener Sheets -- Clorox Wipes
Items can be dropped off at The Cromwell Police Department or the Middletown Police Department

This cat was found injured on Cedarland Court Cromwell CT tonight. It is a female possibly intact and not microchipped but is wearing this collar with a bell.

REMINDER !! The next few days are going to be Extremely Hot and there is a State Wide Heat Advisory. That means keep an extra eye on your pets, limit their time outdoors, walk them early in the morning and keep them off the pavement, give them plenty of fresh water and PLEASE PLEASE Don't leave them in your vehicle while you 'just run in for One thing'!

🔥 CT Dog Gone Recovery – High Heat Advisory 🔥

🌞 Connecticut is in for several days of dangerous heat and humidity. While we’re feeling the heat, our dogs are feeling it even more. Please take extra precautions to keep them safe.

🐾 Heat Safety Tips:
🐶 Walk your dog early in the morning or later in the evening when temperatures are cooler.
🌱 Walk on grass whenever possible—hot pavement can burn sensitive paw pads.
💧 Always provide plenty of fresh, cool water and access to shade or air conditioning.
🚗 Never leave your dog in a parked car, even for a few minutes. Temperatures inside can become deadly in no time.
🏡 If you’re running errands, leave your dog safely at home in the cool air.
⛓️ If you see a dog tethered outside for an extended period during extreme heat, please contact your local Animal Control Officer.
🌡️ Watch for signs of heatstroke, including excessive panting, drooling, weakness, vomiting, bright red gums, or collapse. If you suspect heatstroke, seek veterinary care immediately.
