How many dinners with your family or fun outings with your friends have you had in those 289 days?
That’s 41 cozy Sundays that you slept all snug in your comfortable bed.
42 Fridays that you packed up at work and looked forward to your weekend.
And 41 seemingly ordinary Tuesdays that you didn’t do much at all, but you enjoyed your home and the luxury of a life that we so often take for granted.
And for all of those 289 days, Tank has sat and waited. He has no family to look forward to greeting when they come home on those ordinary days. He has no lazy Sunday morning snuggles to soak in. He definitely hasn’t had any Saturday afternoon car rides with his best friend to grab a pup cup or just bask in the sun in a yard of his own with no particular plans at all.
The shelter has been Tank’s “home” and sadly, as much as he has made the best of it, it has slowly been eating away at him.
This is why we plead with you all to SHARE Tank and all of our shelter animals. Because even though most of our posts are cute and funny, there’s a purpose behind them. There’s a hope that you will share them so that their posts get in front of someone who will see them and open their hearts and home to them.
That’s what Tank REALLY needs right now. Someone to choose HIM.
Tank wants ordinary Tuesdays with you. He wants to fight off the Sunday scaries with you. He would really love to sleep in with you on a Saturday. He wants to share pizza crusts with you and wiggle his little butt for you every time you walk in the door. He wants to share his life with you. In a real home where he will feel loved and in return be the most loyal friend you’ve ever had.
Tank is a fully vetted, neutered male. He is dog friendly and realllllly human friendly.
