We are excited to host our 3rd Family Garden Party with Paulding County Paulding County Georgia Master Gardener Extension Volunteers this year. Join us in our gardens for a morning of fun gardening activities for the family on May 30 from 10 am until 12 pm.

The countdown is on, and we are getting closer to our THIRD ANNUAL Family Garden Party hosted by Paulding County Extension Master Gardeners and Paulding County UGA Extension-Paulding County! We will have FREE, FUN activities in each of our on-site gardens, giveaways, door prizes and more! Don't forget, kids can turn in their completed activity passport for a free pop from King of Pops Dallas. This interactive workshop covers impact sprinklers, drip irrigation systems, and building an Irrigation Water Management Plan—plus hands on experience assembling basic irrigation setups you can replicate on your farm. IPM Workshop at Patchwork City Farms

Join us for a hands-on IPM workshop hosted at a small-scale farm, designed specifically for urban and small-scale vegetable growers. Participants will work alongside UGA Extension agents, specialists, and an experienced farmer to build pest management skills.

Sessions will include insect identification, plant disease diagnosis and holistic management, and proper calibration and use of backpack sprayers. Emphasis will be placed on accurate pest identification, informed decision-making, and effective application techniques. Attendees will gain hands-on practice in the field, leaving with tools and confidence to implement IPM practices on their own farms and gardens.

Ideal for urban and small-scale growers, beginning farmers, and anyone interested in sustainable vegetable production. Breakfast and refreshments courtesy of Good Agriculture.
