How Rideshare2Vote will continue to service voters amid mail-in voting chaos

"The USPS ruling requires states to share voter data with the agency. The agency would then verify that each mail-in ballot complied with newly established procedures and standards and confirm that the voter was enrolled through the Postal Service. In the 2024 Presidential election, one in three individuals voted by mail, amounting to 48 million votes. Implementing this order lawfully is expected to require several years rather than three months. "

North Texas Giving Day Early Giving is here, and we’re proud to celebrate the work Rideshare2Vote Aware is doing here in Texas and nationwide.

For many people, getting to the polls isn’t as simple as having a car or an easy way to get around. That’s where we come in. Year-round, our drivers help remove transportation barriers so eligible voters can get where they need to go and participate in elections.

We’ve seen firsthand how something as simple as a ride can make a meaningful difference. Every trip is part of a larger effort to make access to the voting process easier for people who need transportation assistance.

As we look ahead to the general election and beyond, we’re proud of what our drivers, volunteers, and supporters have accomplished together and excited to continue building on that work.

Our North Texas Giving Day campaign runs through September 17, with a goal of $10,000 to help us prepare for the busy months ahead and sustain our transportation efforts throughout the year.

Happy Women’s Equality Day!

Today, we honor the generations of women who have fought for equality, expanded access to the ballot, and paved the way for more voices to be heard in our democracy.

We are grateful for the women on our team who show up every day with passion and purpose, the women volunteers who see themselves in our vision and help bring it to life, and the voters who trust us to help them safely make their voices heard at the polls.

Every woman who leads, organizes, volunteers, and votes helps move us closer to a more inclusive democracy. This Women’s Equality Day, we celebrate the progress made and the continued work ahead to ensure every voice has the opportunity to shape our future.

The winner of today's election will decide how hundreds of millions of dollars will shape the future of Congressional District 13. These funds could breathe new life into our schools, parks, social services, and so much more!
One of the late representative of CD 13, David Scott's major accomplishments included securing $80 million for historically Black land grant-schools as a part of the 2018 farm bill. This funding was steered towards agriculture-related scholarships across 19 colleges!
Let's hope the next leader invests in our community with the same passion and vision that made him such a remarkable trailblazer!

Georgia today is the Runoff Election! 🗳️The Rideshare2Vote team is already on the move, greeting the sunrise in the Peach State. Our Ride2Vote services will be open until the polls close tonight. We want to give a tremendous thank you to our volunteer drivers for hitting the road and transporting our voters!

Today, we will find out which candidate will represent CD 13 after the passing of the Honorable Congressman David Scott. This election will determine who will represent the seat until the end of this year. The winner of this election will also be on the November ballot for election to the next Congressional term!

In just a few short days, our volunteer drivers will be taking voters to the polls in the Peach State for the Georgia 13th Congressional District special runoff election.
Last time, Jasmine Clark and Everton “EJ” Blair were the top two finishers but neither candidate reached 50% of the vote, meaning the race now comes down to the runoff on August 25.
This is the moment to finish strong. Every vote matters, and every voter who makes it to the polls could make the difference. Our volunteer drivers are stepping up to help voters get where they need to go and make sure their voices are heard.Let’s turn out, show up, and seal the deal Georgia !
