I am honored to be the recipient of the Mexican American Bar Association-Dallas public service Campeona de la Comunidad Award (Community Champion Award) for my work as Chief of the Conviction Integrity Unit of the Dallas DA’s office, exonerating innocent individuals. Thank you for this recognition and for the opportunity to remind everyone that we, as a country but especially as individuals, should never forget or take for granted the grave consequences of neglecting the Constitutional rights afforded to all. Remember to always do good and keep your compass calibrated! 🩷
