Today, we had the pleasure of welcoming two new police officers to the Davison Township Police Department!

Township Clerk Michael Leffler officially swore in Officer Brooks, and Officer Benvenuti. Both officers will immediately begin their Field Training Programs. Although they are new to the Township Police, they are not new to law enforcement. Davison Township is excited to have you both here!

The Davison Township Police Department is proud to partner with the Saves Project. This is a great resource for our police who may come in contact with a lost or missing vulnerable person. Information is gathered about the individual in case of emergency. This is free to our community members. To learn more about this program you can find information at www.savesproject.com SAVES Project

Thanks again to all of our sponsors who generously donated to us so that our National Night Out could happen. At the end of the night, the donations stretched even further. We took all of the left over food and kitchen items to the The Salvation Army USA (Flint, MI). The Salvation Army has a long tradition of helping those in need.

🚨 Back to school safety tips from the Davison Township Police Department.

School is just around the corner, when you post your back to school photos, keep this in mind:

Posting your child's full name, age, school, teacher, or other personal details can give someone with bad intentions more information than they should have.

Instead, keep it short and sweet and only share those personal details with your loved ones. Always protect your child's safety.

Our local Police, Fire, and EMS had the privilege of spending time with so many of our Davison residents. We had so much fun, and hope you did too!

🚒 6:30 Davison Richfield Fire Department vehicle extrication
🎟️ 7:00 raffle (Adult & children)
🚁 7:00 Helicopter landing
Drone show, bounce houses, and mini golf!

Pizza by the slice thanks to Cottage Inn, mini muffins from Big Apple Bagel, ice cream from DQ to beat the heat, and hot dogs grilled up by your local police officers! Grab a bite and have some fun.
