Ruben Chavira Elem. Parents R.C.E. News, Updates, & Celebrations Ruben Chavira Elementary is one of seven elementary schools located in the SFDR-CISD.

We serve around 500 kinder through 5th graders. Strong teachers, amazing students, wonderful faculty, fantastic office staff and hard-working administrators make for one AWESOME team!

🎓✨ At the Ruben Chavira Elementary 5th Grade Promotion Ceremony, our Student Council members proudly wore special stoles made by their sponsors, Mrs. Victoria Rodriguez and Mrs. Sarah Sepulveda, in recognition of their leadership, service, and dedication to our school this year. 🎓👏 What a special day at Ruben Chavira Elementary School! We proudly welcomed back a huge group of graduating seniors for their Senior Clap Out as they walked the halls of their former elementary school one last time.

Our students and staff lined the hallways to cheer them on, celebrate their accomplishments, and remind them that they will always be part of the RCE family. Seeing these former students return as graduating seniors was a powerful reminder of how far they’ve come and the bright futures ahead of them. 🌟
