We accept children from 6 weeks old to 11 years old. Lil' Red Hen is a Star Level 5 early childhood center with Delaware Stars. We believe all children should have quality early care and education available to them in a safe and nurturing environment. We have created a unique and challenging curriculum that utilizes age appropriate practices for all age groups.

The State of Maryland will implement revised PreK through 8 mathematics standards in the 2026 - 27 school year, accompanied by a statewide shift toward more structured and consistent student support practices.

MSDE will be hosting virtual events in June to share with families on what to expect.
