Recovery begins long before the fire is over.

As firefighters continue working to contain the Aspen Acres Fire, The Salvation Army is serving alongside our partners by providing hot meals, supporting Recovery Assistance Centers, and participating in long-term recovery planning.

Recovery is already underway. It means showing up every day—for families, first responders, and communities—as they begin the long road ahead.

Thank you to our staff, volunteers, and community partners who continue to bring hope and practical support to those affected. ❤️

The Salvation Army Emergency Disaster Services team is on the ground supporting first responders battling the Hartman Hill Fire in Grand County.

Our Vail Valley EDS team is currently providing dinner for 150 first responders and remains on standby to provide additional meals as response efforts continue.

We are grateful for the firefighters, emergency personnel, and volunteers working tirelessly to protect Colorado communities.

When the flames move on, the uncertainty remains.

Individuals impacted by the Aspen Acres Fire are facing devastating loss and a long road to recovery.

After evacuating, many of our neighbors are left wondering when they can return home, what they’ll find when they get there, and how they’ll begin to rebuild.

The Salvation Army is on the ground providing emergency assistance, including food, hydration, hygiene kits, cleanup supplies, gift cards, temporary lodging support, and compassionate care for those impacted.

Recovery doesn’t end when the smoke clears. Our teams will continue walking alongside these communities through the days, weeks, and months ahead.

Your support helps provide immediate relief today and hope for the journey ahead.

Thanks to a generous donor, your gift will be matched dollar for dollar. Give today and your donation will go twice as far for people impacted by the Aspen Acres Fire.

Today, we celebrate 161 years of The Salvation Army's mission of sharing hope, serving communities, and meeting human needs without discrimination.

Since its founding in 1865 by William and Catherine Booth, The Salvation Army has remained committed to serving others with compassion, faith, and practical support. Across the Intermountain Division and around the world, we are honored to carry that mission forward each day.

Thank you to our officers, employees, volunteers, donors, and community partners who help make this work possible.
