Thank you to everyone who came out to the Fox Hill Road Playground morning fun event! The neighbors had a great time seeing & meeting each other - both kids & adults! Thanks VoTech Resource Officer Kristian Sandman for stopping by & lending an ear to the concerns re. anything school/traffic related. If you want to talk to Officer Sandman about anything related to the school, we can get you his contact info. Thank you Officer Travis Dean of the K9 Morris County Sheriff’s Office for attending with your family & for sharing you collector cards of K9 JoJo. If anyone wants Officer Sandman or JoJos collector cards, please let us know, so we can get them to you! Next year will be the 10 year anniversary of rebuilding the playground! Looking forward to celebrating community!

Thank you Bill (Kenny) & the workers at DPW Denville Public Works Department for sprucing up our playground & providing safe, new mulch. The neighborhood children are grateful to have their playground back. Thank you!
Also, if you visit, please take a moment to notice the new bench installed, "In loving memory of Bill & Mary Townend. They both loved their time here.". The Townends lived across from the playground & helped its creation (nearly 50 years ago!). Gratitude for good neighbors & neighborhoods in Denville, & for a municipality that keeps it strong. Thank you!

Hard to believe its been 4 years since our rebuild! Great to see the playground being used by parents and tots and playgroups. We are giving out FRESH, NEW magnets to anyone who has original - pls just comment or DM to let us know you want new one. Thx!

Feeling a little verklempt after an energized build day on Saturday. Learned that our community extends beyond our Fox Hill Manor neighborhood, and into the town of Denville and surrounding towns. People here know that being a resident means you are filled with heart, honesty & an innate sense of what is means to be a good citizen and to help your community. Mayor Andes' message of giving to community, and his inspiration and leadership throughout this long project, have been the guiding force though this long project. Of course Mayor Andes chose a wonderful playground company to work with (the same company Designed for Fun, Inc. that built the original Gardner Field playground) led by Brett Haddaway who was our fearless captain for the day. Having never participated in a barn raising, I wasn't aware of the great sense of community, team work, and accomplishment one could feel after literally building a playground in one day (after nearly 3.5 yrs of prep mind you). Now I know! It was a transformative experience.
This week, look for photos & mentions in the Neighbor News as well as The Citizen (which incidentally is the paper that published the original photo of the 1972 playground). Also, we will be notifying all those who participated about the Ribbon Cutting ceremony, to take place once the brick pavers are in & everything is in pace, hopefully mid-September.

Happening tonight! Item was rescheduled for tonight since not all legal parties were present last time. Pls attend! 7:30 start time, but prob won't get to item before 8p, so come when you can. See you tonight!

Tonight 7:30p Denville Town Hall. Come help prevent Industrial Buildings from ruining our neighborhood!! The Township of Denville is about to grant permissions to remove MORE trees & disrupt MORE wetland areas for the development of industrial buildings behind the Luger Road complex - potentially causing flooding for us and causing noise and visual disruptions (i.e., some Fox Hill Road residents will have buildings in their backyards where there were formerly trees). The FINAL meeting will be tonight at 7:30p. Please come help fight it. Bill and Pattie Kolbe will be there early at 7p to meet people.
