Sonshine Soup Kitchen SERVING DRIVE-THROUGH TO-GO MEALS ON MONDAYS, TUESDAYS, WEDNESDAYS, THURSDAYS AND FRIDAYS, 4:30pm-5:00pm. OFFICE HOURS MONDAY THROUGH THURSDAY 1:00-6:00

The Sonshine Soup Kitchen provides free healthy to-go meals Mon-Fri, 4:30-5 pm. Our 'Clothing Closet' with free clothes and toiletries, is open Mon-Thurs, 3-4 pm. Holidays and weather closures are applicable, so check ahead if there's any question!

Every spring Granite United Way sends us volunteers! They w**d, sweep, plant, mulch, water, wash windows, and pick up trash. They save us so much money on landscaping -- money that we can use to buy food instead. Every year we're so grateful!

We could also use toiletries: we're really low on shaving cream, toothpaste, conditioner (we're in better shape on shampoo, but we'll take that too), good razors, and individually packaged toothbrushes. Coming into summer heat, we're also begging for bottled water to give out!! 💦

Wednesday was pizza day! Once a month, the Derry Dominos donates boxes and boxes of fresh baked pizza -- we fed 80 people yesterday. Meal Sponsors like Dominos help us to stretch our budget. Summertime is especially tight for us, just as the numbers of homeless tend to increase.
