Exploring career possibilities, one hands-on experience at a time!

We were excited to connect Winterset students with Collins Aerospace for a behind-the-scenes look at the manufacturing floor and the careers that make it all possible. Students explored opportunities in manufacturing, engineering and business while putting skills they can use in any career into practice.

Thank you to Collins Aerospace for welcoming the students and to Winterset schools for helping them explore the possibilities ahead!

Open exclusively to Partnership Investors, Affiliate Chambers and Regional Chamber Members, the series provides an opportunity to hear directly from Republican and Democratic candidates ahead of the General Election. Great leaders don't develop overnight. They grow through experience, mentorship and meaningful connections. The Greater Des Moines Partnership is now accepting employer nominations for the 2027-28 DSM Fellowship Program!

This 15-month professional development experience helps emerging leaders build the skills, relationships and community connections that will shape their careers and the future of Greater Des Moines.

Employers are encouraged to nominate professionals with three to seven years of experience who are ready to take the next step in their leadership journey.

Nominations are open through Thursday, Dec. 31.
