This past Saturday, it was my great honor to emcee TU REFUGIO SEGURO’s first event of the year.💜

Thank you always for your guidance: Charlie Garcia, Rafael Sanchez, Dolly M. Serrant, Antonio Chapital!

A special thank you to Irina Sorrels, whose vision and dedication made this event possible. This beautiful event was also dedicated to the memory of her mother.

Together, we honored survivors and advocates, especially those whose lives have been impacted by domestic violence, sexual violence, and human trafficking.

We were honored to have . Virginia Caine as our keynote speaker and Andrea Hunley as our special guest.

The event also featured an incredible panel discussion led by my dear friend Ana Santiago.

Tu Refugio Seguro’s goal is to build a transitional housing facility that will allow the organization to serve and support even more families in need.

During the ceremony, the organization’s first official program for men, Restaurado, was proudly launched.

Thank you to everyone who attended, and especially to those who courageously opened their hearts and shared their personal stories.

Congratulations to all of the award recipients. Your resilience, leadership, and impact inspire us all. 💜💜
