Did you know?

The Teton BUILD Grant was passed in September 2020. On this day, the U.S. Department of Transportation awarded a $20 million Better Utilizing Investments to Leverage Development (BUILD) grant. An additional $5 million secured later brought total grant funding to $25 million, supporting regional transit and pathway networks along the WY-22 and ID-33 corridor.

The Teton Mobility Corridor Improvements BUILD Grant Project has implemented a series of multimodal improvement projects along the ID SH 33/WY-22 corridor between Driggs, ID and Jackson, WY.

These projects connect residents and visitors to many of the region’s economic generators, including Grand Targhee Resort, the cities of Driggs and Victor, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, and the Town of Jackson.

Teton Build Grant is proud to celebrate the hard work and collaboration that went into bringing the Stilson Transit Center project to life.

This beautiful new facility represents more than an investment in infrastructure—it is an important step toward a more connected, accessible, and sustainable transportation network for our community.

As a key component of the Teton Mobility Corridor Improvements, the Stilson Transit Center brings together transit, pedestrian, bicycle, and park-and-ride connections to make it easier for residents, workers, and visitors to get where they need to go.

Yesterday was a milestone for transportation and connectivity in Teton County as we celebrated the ribbon cutting for the Stilson Transit Center.

We were honored to welcome U.S. Senator John Barrasso and Congresswoman Harriet Hageman, who joined community leaders and project partners to mark the occasion and share remarks about the importance of investing in infrastructure that serves Wyoming communities.

Stilson represents what is possible when local, federal, public and private partners work together toward a shared vision. This project will improve transportation options, strengthen regional connectivity and create safer, more accessible ways for residents and visitors to move throughout the valley.

A project of this scale takes years of planning, coordination and commitment. Thank you to Teton County, the Town of Jackson, Friends of Pathways, START Bus, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, Teton Village Association, Wilson Advocacy Group, Jorgensen Associates and Dick Anderson Construction for the important roles each played in bringing the Stilson Transit Center to life.
