The Libby app will be asking for a second piece of information from you, starting on September 28. You will need to enter a PIN number that is associated with your library card.

You may already know your pin number, and then you can enter it when asked to verify.
IF you have an email attached to your library card (do we email you about books about to be due?) and you can ACCESS that email, you can follow directions here:https://eastrockawaylibrary.org/wp-content/uploads/Adding-Resetting-a-PIN-in-Vega-1.pdf

If this makes no sense to you, please stop in the library with your library card starting on Monday, and we will be happy to reset your pin or create a new one! We have more than two weeks to get this straightened out, so don't worry - we are here to help! We know how much you use this service and we are happy to help.
If you can't get into the library, you can call starting Monday for help as well.

A driver’s license or photo ID, recent bank statement, utility bill, car insurance documents, credit card statement are all acceptable. Library cards are valid for a period of 3 years. Cards for Bay Park Library District patrons expire according to the contract.
How do I get my child a library card?
Anyone who is under 18 is considered a juvenile at the library. A parent or guardian can bring in their personal ID and a recently dated bank statement and/or utility bill.
Can I get a library card without coming in to the library?
Sure! Email a picture or scan of your two proofs of residency to [email protected] ! We will email back with some questions to answer! Then the library will create your card, email you the barcode (so you can start reading ebooks right away!) and drop your card in the mail! (Everyone likes to get mail!
