The Hewlett-Woodmere Public Library is the Music and Art co-central library of the Nassau Library System. The library serves the communities of School District 14 (Hewlett-Woodmere School District) on the south shore of Long Island.

Who wore it better? 🤣 During the commencement of our major Boiler Replacement project, we realized our old boiler bears a striking resemblance to the character Domo-kun! What do you think?

Jokes aside, this work is a crucial part of our comprehensive facility modernization initiative. We are replacing two primary boilers to ensure long-term heating reliability for the entire facility.

As Library Director Michelle Young recently stated, "By modernizing our physical space—from the energy-efficient lighting in Gold Hall to our climate control systems—we are ensuring that HWPL remains a sustainable and state-of-the-art environment for all residents."
