The library will be closed from Saturday, May 23rd through Monday, May 25th for Memorial Day weekend. We will open again on Tuesday, May 26th at 10:00am. For those wishing to view the Village's annual Memorial Day Parade, it will begin at 9:30am. Participants will parade down Rockaway Pkwy./Ave. turning west onto Valley Stream Blvd. making their way to the Village Green for a ceremony at the Valley Stream Veterans Memorial on the corner of Valley Stream Blvd. and Hicks Street at the conclusion of the parade.

The Catholic Health St. Francis Hospital Mobile Outreach van will be visiting the library on Tuesday, May 12th from 10:00am until 2:00pm, offering free health screenings for adults. No registration is required. The last screenings will be at 1:45pm.
