ectic, Alabama. It has not been determined whether this Leonid meteor shower actually sent any debris anywhere near Eclectic, but the romantic in all of us would like to think so.

Eclectic’s Corporal Brown was awarded the Lifesaving Award by the Eclectic Police Department for going above the call of duty to save a fellow officer’s life. The Town appreciates Corporal Brown’s efforts and are proud to have him on our police force.

Today, on behalf of the Town of Eclectic, The Eclectic Police Department, Eclectic Fire Department, and First Baptist Church, we came together to provide a special Christmas blessing to Silas Simmions, a remarkable 10-year-old kid of our community. Silas suffered the devastating loss of his mother in a tragic accident at the end of November.

We, the servants of the Eclectic community, united to present Silas with the Christmas gifts he had wished for, we were thankful to express our unwavering support and love for him and his family.

May God bless and may you have a Merry Christmas.
