Shotgun deer hunting season begins tomorrow, December 1st, and runs through December 13th.

If you’re planning to head into the woods for hiking, dog walking, or any outdoor activities, please exercise extra caution and make sure to wear blaze orange so you’re easily visible.

We're happy to have Island built Excavation and Yard implementing a great project down at Fisherman's Landing. The area is closed this week for the earth work, the new parking area and turnaround will be done this week and we hope to have new dingy storage and a kayak rack installed by spring! This area is utilized by local Commercial Fishermen and mooring holders and is under teh care of the Conservation Commission.

Edgartown school students are taking part in a new partnership between the town’s conservation commission to build wooden huts they will later place along Norton Point to help shelter coastal birds from predators.
