SDCL's Crest branch will be handing out FREE summer meal kits for youth ages 1-18. This program is possible by the help of Feeding San Diego and Lunch at the Library.

Parents/Guardians are able to pick up kits for their children, and kits are limited.

Thursday, June 25, Free Spirit the Clown will visit the Crest branch from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. to bring some fun to the library during meal distribution! If a child does not need or want a kit, or if a patron is unable to get a kit, please visit anyway to have an artsy and bubbly time with Free Spirit the Clown!

Thursday, July 9, Marc Griffiths the Ventriloquist will visit during a distribution day from 1:30 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. for patrons to meet his puppet friends!

At this FREE EVENT, have fun with bubbles, face painting, games, and balloons with Free Spirit the Clown!

Free Spirit the Clown's visit is in collaboration with Crest library's youth summer meal service, provided by Feeding San Diego. Youth ages 0-18 are welcome to come to the library to grab a meal kit and watch a fun performance.

Children who do not want a meal kit and patrons unable to receive a meal kit are welcome to watch the performance. Information about Feeding San Diego and other food programs will be available.
