Located just a few miles from LAX (Los Angeles International Airport), the El Segundo Public Library's mission is to meet the informational, educational, and recreational needs of the community in a welcoming environment. It provides organized collections, professional research staff, educational programs, and access to an extensive network of resources through current technology and participation

in cooperative library systems. The library encourages the enjoyment of literature in the formative years by offering story times and reading programs for children, providing print and online references for homework assignments, and selecting exciting reading materials that cultivate lifelong learners.

Join us on Wednesday, September 16, 6:00-7:00PM for a special self-care reset evening of calm, featuring a sound bath meditation with LaRuth Wright. This program is FREE and welcomes ages 18+ please. RSVP required by visiting or calling the reference Desk at 310-524-2728. Please bring a yoga mat or towel for floor work. Chairs available for those unable to relax on the floor. Due to the nature of the program, participants should arrive by 5:55PM. Arrivals after 6PM will not be let in.

Join El Segundo's Historical Committee and Public Library for a special evening with our very own Danny Boehle and Dan Coonan, along with some of the World Series Champions, in celebration of their new book Second to None: A Coach's Message of Love and Selflessness Propels Tiny El Segundo to a Dramatic Little League World Title.

Danny Boehle and Dan Coonan will discuss their experience in writing the book along with stories and Q&A about coaching the El Segundo Little League All-Stars to becoming the 2023 Little League World Series Champions.

Books will be available for purchase and signing.

Event to take place at the El Segundo Public Library's Reading Lounge located at 111 West Mariposa Avenue, El Segundo, CA 90245.
